Memorial Day weekend

We had our first weekend "off" since mid-March and it was wonderful! What I mean by off is; no baseball, no ballet, and no entertaining of any kind at home for 3 entire days. It was great! We love the activities and the hosting of "stuff" but it does get busy and sometimes you just need a break! Saturday we headed out to Fay Bainbridge Park to enjoy some beautiful sunshine and visit with my dad, aunt and uncle, and cousin and her family. We all really enjoyed our time; especially the kids....
Look at these two twinsies....Killian really enjoyed scooting around on cousin Abby's trike. I certainly know what he needs for his birthday coming up!
Fay Bainbridge has such a lovely view. On days like this you can witness many boaters and catch a view of Seattle off in the distance. The tide was out quite far when we arrived so the kids played on the beach for a bit before lunchtime of delcious picnic fair.
Can you spot Mt. Rainier over Avery's left shoulder; just a mere figure off in the distance. We are so blessed to live in the Pacific NW!
Here is Finn man, checking for shells, crabs, and pretty rocks....
