"Absolutely NOT!"

So, you may be wondering about the title above...Let me tell you, this 2 1/2 year old has had a case of the grumpies since he has been sick over the past month.  The above quote by the little John Junior  (uh..not because he is grumpy-ha,ha) is hilarious to hear because he will simply walk about saying, "absolutely not!"  Now, you may be wondering where he hears this statement.  I am slightly embarrassed to confess that it is from my lips--the mother.  Apparently this is a comment that I am over using here on the homefront.  The other word that he has been parroting is "ridiculous!"  It is really quite hilarious to hear him; even though he is a getting a bit big for his britches!  This picture up top captures the essence of his "two-ness" but needless to say John and I have been cracking down.  We can't let his little attitude get the best of him--even if he was sick.  It is amazing how that works with kids (well, us adults too!); you give them an inch and they take a mile.


Poor little guy; here he is with pneumonia AND croup.  Doesn't he just look miserable!  It has really been a slow recovery.  He is starting to get back to himself--finally...

This is the cheeseball that we know and love; "Say cheese!"  He loves to be the center of attention--let me tell you; he is a little party boy.  At church the kids have their own classrooms divided by age, but during worship time they come together to sing and praise the Lord.  Well this little guy gets down to the music and does a boogey dance.
