Tea Time

Maribella has been enjoying my tea things for quite some time; so several months ago we decided that she should host a "Christmas Tea Party" and that is just what we did! Above the girls are performing such a lovely ballet to the Nutcracker CD. Let's just say; they weren't the daintiest dancers I had ever seen :)

Maribella invited 10 darling girls over but 3 were unable to attend. Our special little Ainsley, Emma, and Amalia were either sick of detained for the afternoon. Above is Eve and Macey enjoying some tasty treats all decked out in their Christmas prettiest!

Here is Shannon and Isabela acting so proper at the tea. The girls were all so adorable; even a little self conscious and shy at attending a "fancy" party. It really wasn't pretentious at all; I think they simply were excited at having something unusual and special occur in their lives.

Above is the entire group as they sat down to enjoy their treats and sandwiches and candy cane tea! After eating they played in Maribella's bedroom for a bit and then did a painting project on a glass ornament. Maybe this will become a new little tradition for Maribella. Such a wonderful opportunity to enjoy being a little lady!
